“Certain Proof” U.S. Television Premiere – Sunday, March 3th at 8PM on STARZ Kids and Family Channel
DENVER, DATE 2/13/13 – Footpath Pictures announced today that the U.S. Television premiere of their feature documentary, “Certain Proof” will be Sunday, March 3rd, at 8:00pm (Eastern/Pacific) on the cable premium movie network, STARZ Kids and Family Channel.
Starz Entertainment, LLC acquired the film in November of last year. The film had its world premiere at the Vail Film Festival and Hollywood premiere at the Dances With Films Festival.
CERTAIN PROOF follows the lives of three children with living with communication and physical disabilities, as they struggle against the public schools in an emotional battle to receive an adequate education. The film is introduced by academy award winning actor Chris Cooper.
“Children with cerebral palsy deserve a chance at a good education, but too many times they face a difficult road in achieving their potential. We hope to bring to light the need for a better approach in teaching all children”, said Producer Susan Ellis.
Added Director Ray Ellis, “We are very excited that that this film will be seen by a national audience and we hope to start a much needed discussion on the important issue of improving special needs education.”
